Ladies, it’s that time of year again! Our 20th Annual Women's Christmas Tea is going to be on Friday, December 1st from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at Godspeak. It is $30.00 per person. We are going to make this Christmas “missional” and discover what it means when Jesus says in Matthew 25:40, “to the Least of These.” Loren Lindquist, our missionary to Entebbe, Uganda will be the main speaker, and Miranda Riggs will be back this year for the worship. The Godspeak Marriage Workshop Series. We have the perfect study as we head into the Holiday Season. Session #2, held December 8th & 9th, will focus on "conflict resolution". Each couple will be given practical biblical tools to resolve marital arguments and spiritual strongholds that have taken root in the marriage. In response, next Sunday morning, November 19th from 10:30-11:00am in Suite 10, our short, expositional teaching will be on our thoughts and the battlefield of the mind. How do we move forward by taking every thought captive and trusting God as we walk through this valley of the shadow of death.
Bring your Bible and journal. Verse by verse, we will go through 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 and compare it with other Biblical references (1 Corinthians 2:13). This model will assist you in your everyday study through the Word. No matter where you are in Scripture, no matter how mature your faith, you can apply this model and even facilitate your own group in any setting.

Keeping that freedom as we become older is the focus of the California Highway Patrol "Age Well, Drive Smart" program for Seniors. Our Women's Equip Ministry and Sonshiner's Women's Bible Study are joining together to offer the same study on Thursday and Sunday mornings. That way, if you cannot join one, you can take part in the other! In this 6-session Bible study called Entrusted, Beth Moore will encourage us to guard what God has entrusted to us while furthering His kingdom by sharing Christ with others and pour into future generations. As we journey this path of joy and hardship, we need each other to stay the course and live a life of faithfulness. Join us in this journey.

Unless people are taught by God's Word and how His Word views all of life's problems, we will be too easily swayed, overwhelmed, and the Word of God will be blasphemed as it says in Titus 2. Let us rise up and be trained in grace and what it takes to have solid families!

The Missions Ministry has a support project for Katherine Steele and "Children of Hope" home in Cambodia. "Christmas in July" is underway to re-stock the shelves with some much needed items. You can find a list of items on the table next to the "Missions Wall" and a box to deposit items throughout the month of July. This Luncheon we have guest speaker Dr. Asif Taqi, the Stroke Director for Los Robles Hospital. Dr. Taqi works closely with the American Heart Association for education on stroke awareness, prevention and identification. Join us as he shares what to do in case of a stroke and the new advances in the treatment of strokes. Cost to attend is $10 per person. Sign up at the Events Table.
Join us as we team up with the Conejo Pregnancy Center to raise money to help new foster families in the Conejo Valley! It's as easy as 1-taking a baby bottle from the foyer, 2- filling it with loose change and other money, and 3- bringing it back to Godspeak when it's full and we will send it to the CPC!
