A Year Of Biblical Literacy
Jan

to Dec 31

A Year Of Biblical Literacy

In 2018 we are excited to bring you "A Year Of Biblical Literacy" and pray that you will take this journey with us, engage yourself and loved ones to grow in faith...because we know that... "faith comes by hearing and hearing from the word of God". Our desire and heart for the Church family is to make bible reading a spiritual discipline that is exciting, enjoyable and fruitful. When we systematically read, meditate and memorize scripture it nourishes our souls, hearts and minds. Reading scripture is how we become “biblically literate” empowering us to be disciples and committed followers of Jesus, to live transformed lives and become the change ambassadors for our families, communities and our culture for Him. We have provided resources designed to help us in our daily and weekly walk through the bible. Below are the portals to get us started and to guide us throughout the year.

We pray your year will be abundant and fruitful enjoying God's word!

Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
    Nor stands in the path of sinners,
    Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
    And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
    Planted by the rivers of water,
    That brings forth its fruit in its season,
    Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

Psalm 1:1-3

Equip Women's Ministry
10:30am - 11:00am

Thank you for your topical requests! In response, next Sunday morning, November 19th from 10:30-11:00am in Suite 10, our short, expositional teaching will be on our thoughts and the battlefield of the mind. How do we move forward by taking every thought captive and trusting God as we walk through this valley of the shadow of death.

Bring your Bible and journal. Verse by verse, we will go through 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 and compare it with other Biblical references (1 Corinthians 2:13). This model will assist you in your everyday study through the Word. No matter where you are in Scripture, no matter how mature your faith, you can apply this model and even facilitate your own group in any setting.

We will have topical verses available for you on thoughts upon arrival.
